Maklites had a humble beginning in the year of 2002 as a Lighting company manufacturing Chokes & Ballasts for Gas filled Tube Lights. In the year 2006, we migrated our production to CFL Lighting for Street Lights & Indoor Products.

Knowing the importance of Led and its benefit in the year of 2009, we started our unit in Mumbai for Led casting and made our presence Pan India.

With more than 200 different Led casting Housings being offered to above 1400 manufacturers in India, Maklites was providing solutions to the India Led Lighting manufacturers an alternate to the dependence on imported Led Housings.

Our team had the privilege to introduced Cosmo Brand in the market by 2013 and now have a very good acceptance throughout all regions of India.

From Led Castings to Technology:

With the advent of Technology like IoT and AI spreading very fast, Maklites has now turned the focus on Technology developments for Lighting Industry like Light Sensor, Motion Sensor, Dual Sensor (First time in India) products for Indoor and Outdoor, Driver on Board (even with 440v protection), Bluetooth enabled Lights by Remote, App and off line voice Control , Wifi enabled Lights by Remote, App and voice control (With Alexa compatible), Smart street lighting solutions for Smart cities with Long range Control.

Maklites has its manufacturing facility in Chennai and full fledged R&D facility at Mumbai and Regional office at New Delhi.
Maklites has its own sourcing office and Mini R&D facility in China to source Quality components from China.

Maklites is moving from a Lighting company to a Technology based manufacturing company. Our Vision is to provide Technology products & solutions not only for Lighting but also for other industries which are looking on IOT based and AI Software and hardware solutions.

Maklites has started a separate Division now working for Module integration, App development for IoT related products.

In 2009 For Led Industry the need was Led Housing . Maklites was the first manufacturer to identify the need and ventured to satisfy thousands of customer needs.
Now the need for the Industry is Software Integration of various technology like Bluetooth, Wifi, IoT and AI into the existing products. Be it Lighting, White goods, Automobiles etc.

So Maklites is trying to fill the Void between an Engineering product and application of Technology for making the product Smart.
